Saturday: Explore the historic center and surroundings

If you want to go back in time and see how the Transylvanian Saxons lived in the past centuries, you can take a trip to one of the fortified churches around the city. You can choose to visit the Fortified Church of Cisnădie, the Fortified Church of Cisnădioara or the Fortified Church of Cristian. All these churches were built between the 13th and 16th centuries and served as places of worship and refuge for the Saxon communities. If you want to have fun and enjoy music and dance, you can go to one of the cultural events that take place in the city.
